Scapex Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit working out of Gujarat across the whole development field — education, skills, health, water, women's enterprise, environment, rural development, elderly care, disability, disaster relief and animal welfare.

Scapex works across the full development field rather than a single cause — because the household that needs a school also needs water, income and a clinic. Every area below carries the same requirement: a defined cohort, a unit cost, and a published indicator.

Foundational learning
After-school learning centres running a teaching-at-the-right-level model, grouping children by what they can actually read and compute rather than by class.

Six-to-twelve week tracks in digital work, retail and repair trades, run to NSQF levels with employers involved from week one, not at the end.

Self-help groups with bookkeeping support, a revolving fund and buyer introductions — because household income is what keeps a girl enrolled.

Scapex was incorporated in 2025. We have no decade of impact numbers to point at, and we would rather say so than round one up. What we can publish from day one is the design: the baseline instrument, the sample, the cost per child, the board-approved 85% programme-spend floor, and the date the first endline lands.

Where we are
Baseline survey opens across the first six blocks
Enumerators begin household listing and the ASER-style reading and arithmetic assessment that sets our Class 3–5 baseline.
First two learning centres commissioned
Sites identified with the gram panchayat; facilitator recruitment and the six-day induction run through the month.
NGO Darpan registration confirmed
Unique ID GJ/2025/0834167 issued by NITI Aayog, opening eligibility for government scheme partnerships.
